My partner and I are about 40k in cc debt due to to me being unemployed for a long time last year. My credit is trash and I can't seem to get a personal loan for my debt. I was thinking about having her apply for one for the full 40k and helping her pay it back while using my part of it to make payments on my cards and repair my credit, she has better credit than I.
My question is if she says debt consolidation will they check her debt? Or can she just say personal stuff?
