CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) — This Friday and Saturday, Douglass Park will be hosting Champaign-Urbana Days.
CU Days have been celebrated for more than 30 years. The two-day event aims to honor the twin cities’ shared heritage and culture.
2024’s festivities will be held on Aug. 9 from 5 to 8 p.m. and Aug. 10 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
It will feature music from DJ Slim, local vendors and cuisine (including a free bingo luncheon for ages 50+), a back-to-school giveaway, a CU All Stars basketball tournament, and more. Additionally, kids can enjoy inflatables, balloon animals, face-painting, and caricatures.
