Dump truck stolen from Decatur Park District


DECATUR, Ill. (WCIA) — The Decatur Park District and Park Police announced that a dump truck was stolen from the Nelson Park Maintenance area earlier this week.

Officials said it happened on Monday at 4:15 a.m. The stolen dump truck is a 2008 International with “Decatur Park District” lettering on the doors and “273” on the hood near the doors.

At the time of the theft, officials said it had a gray cab, stainless bed and plow mount.

The truck was captured on surveillance footage when it was last seen. It traveled north on Nelson Boulevard, then west on Route 36.
