HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Multiple roads remain closed and more than 100 residents in the township are without power on Thursday morning following a severe thunderstorm on Wednesday night.
Hillsborough Police reported the following roads remain closed due to trees and wires down:
- Zion Road between Amwell & Longhill
- Three Bridges Road between Woodfern Road & Hockenbury Road
“Please do not move or drive around cones or barricades,” said police in an alert on Thursday morning.

As of 7 a.m., JCP&L is reporting that 104 residents are without power. Power is estimated to be restored by noon on Thursday.
PSE&G is reporting less than 5 residents are without power with an estimated restoration time of 11:30 a.m.
