SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — Just as quietly as it appeared, Utah’s new Dunkin’ Donuts location opened its doors to start serving the community donuts, coffee, and more.
The new Dunkin’ Donuts, located at 1410 West and 9000 South in West Jordan in the parking lot of the new H Mart, officially opened on Saturday, Aug. 3. A spokesperson for the restaurant said the new location will offer Utahns a “Next Gen” Dunkin’ Donuts experience.
Dunkin’ fans will reportedly get a first-hand look at the “future experience” with a modern design, a new interior color palate, and an atmospheric lobby. The store will offer everything they’ve come to love from Dunkin’ Donuts, including the “Next Gen” exclusive of nitro-infused cold brew.
“The opening of Dunkin’s West Jordan restaurant marks the second location in Utah and offers an exciting new way to keep our fans running faster than ever before,” said Shannon Durkin, West Dunkin’ field marketing manager. “With a second restaurant, we look forward to serving Dunkin’s iconic coffee, donuts, and diverse menu to both our loyal returning and new guests.”
The West Jordan Dunkin’ will be open seven days a week from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. A grand opening event will be held on Saturday, Aug. 24.
The new Dunkin’ Donuts will be the first publicly available location since 2020. Utah used to be home to several Dunkin’ Donuts locations across the Great Salt Lake valley, however, they all abruptly closed in July 2020. In the years since a location on Hill Air Force Base has remained Utah’s only Dunkin’ Donuts.
